About
I offer freelance editing for middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction (no short stories, picture books, or nonfiction at this time, please!). I pride myself on my attention to detail and structure alike, as well as my accessibility and friendliness. I will push you to make your materials the best they can be without encroaching on your vision.
Please note: As of September 2024, I am an associate literary agent at Azantian Literary Agency. As such, should you hire me for freelance work, this will disqualify me from representing you as a literary agent to avoid conflicts of interest.
- Over the course of my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many New York Times and independent bestselling authors, as well as major award winners, nominees, and finalists (including the William C. Morris Award, Printz Award, the National Book Award, the Coretta Scott King Book Award, the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, the Lambda Literary Award, Kirkus Best Books of the 21st Century, and the E.B. White Read-Aloud Award).
- I began my career in book publishing in August 2015 as an editorial intern at Entangled Publishing. I went on to work at five literary agencies, including Writers House, Triada US, and Stonesong, before working at NetGalley as Sales Coordinator for over three years. I returned to my roots as an associate literary agent at Azantian Literary Agency in September 2024.
- I’ve edited for many authors who have gone on to sign with literary agents and sell their books to publishers. Here are some kind things a few clients have had to say about my work.
